Professional Background
In 2018, my husband Alan and I made the decision to put our beloved farmhouse on the market and relocate to Florida. Our kids are grown and we were ready to make the change. A monumental downsizing meant resigning from our jobs in Massachusetts and starting over in the city we chose for retirement.
We still have two dachshunds and live in a beautiful home on the water. My retirement lasted all of three weeks. I accepted a consulting role in event marketing, working part time in my home office.
I am a member of the board of directors for the Exhibitor Appointed Contractors Association and Angel Wings of Southwest Florida Women’s Shelter.
Personal Background
I love to cook, but baking is where my heart lies. In my next life I will live in a small town in the south of France and own a patisserie. I will also look like Juliette Binoche in Chocolat.
I have Superpowers, but I only use them to do good in the world.
Hi Ed – thanks for your note. Many of us credit our outlook on life to our SHAPE experiences. We have a very active SHAPE alumni group (we all went to the high school there) -and you can find us on FB under SHAPE Spartans. Did you know Anthony Colucci? We are very good friends!
I served at SHAPE from May 68 until September 69. My wife and I lived in a trailor park, just outside SHAPE, in Casteau, not far from the SHAPE Hospital. We truly loved Belgium and its people. I gained quite a new outlook on life from my work and personal associations with Belgian nationals and members of the armed services of several NATO members. I was an Army accountant with the 27th Finance. Thanks for your posting
